The gardens at Hatfield House are ideal for pre-wedding portraits, and at this time of year they are blossoming. Even the bluebells are still in flower, along with rhododendrons and cow parsley. Lisa and Michael were immediately at ease in front of the camera, and we wandered through the formal and informal areas of the gardens, spoilt for choice with good areas in which to photograph. Lisa’s mum came along and took a few photos too, so Lisa and Michael had the full paparazzo treatment!
These pre-wedding portraits are so worthwhile – it’s a great chance to get even more comfortable having your photo taken professionally, we get to know each other better, and everyone feels more comfortable together on the wedding day right from the start.
Here are just a few favourites from our morning together.
