Our wedding photography in London often includes pre-wedding portraits for our clients, and I always enjoy these fun and relaxed sessions. I met Katie and Chris at the South Bank, on a bitterly cold morning in brilliant light. We decided on a route for our stroll, and set off towards Waterloo Bridge, crossing the Thames, then back along the Victoria Embankment and over Westminster Bridge. Their wedding later on this year is at one of my favourite London wedding venues, 1 Great George Street.
These sessions are completely without pressure, and are all about us getting used to each other, which helps photography on the wedding day to flow easily. Katie and Chris were soon into their stride, and really enjoyed being photographed together around the London landmarks. In fact it was hard to stop chatting about things as we wandered, particularly Chris’ upcoming London marathon run, and if not for getting married this year, his triathlon events. I like a bike ride myself, but really!
Anyway, enough banter, here are some shots from Katie and Chris’ pre-wedding portrait session. Enjoy!
