Micro-stories | Seeing the wood and the trees
February 5, 2016
I’ve been playing with the jpeg settings on my X100T and loving the results. Classic Chrome then a little adjustment in Lightroom. Perfect for sunshine and shadow.
The phrase comes to mind – ‘You can’t see the wood for the trees’. It means you can’t understand a situation clearly because you are too involved in it. You can’t see the details. I love images with lots of detail, but at the same time having depth and scale. As a photographer seeing the big picture as well as the detail is crucial.
