Claire didn’t stop smiling all day. You could say it was because of the amazing venue, or the chilly winter’s day, or the champagne she had for breakfast! But it was none of these, or at least not entirely – it was because she was marrying the lovely man she loves, Matt. It’s easy to forget that wedding days are only about one thing – marrying the person you love. This small fact can get a bit sidelined with so many other things to think about – the flowers’ colours, table decorations, guests’ dietary requirements, the weather and so on. Winter weddings at Fanhams Hall at least take one element out of the equation, the weather.
So back to smiling Claire – smiling because everyone she cared about was with her. Again, easily overlooked in the hurly-burly of all the wedding day arrangements. It’s way up near the top of the Most Important Things About a Wedding Day list – the most loved and treasured family and friends are with you, and you are allowed to be with them and enjoy their company. Marrying Matt is top of the list, natch.
And a bit further down the list, but not too far, is relaxing and having some fab photos taken throughout the day, to remind you of the people who were present, what they wore, what they did, who they chatted to, how they laughed.
