Katie and Tim – a Surrey wedding at Wotton House

I arrived at Katie’s house to be greeted by men in various attire busily ironing, speech writing and, well, being busy. Katie was busy too, in a calm way, having hair and make-up finished off with her bridesmaids. I busied myself with photographing her fabulous Jimmy Choos, and then took her engagement ring and bouquet for a wander in the garden. Dana was at Wotton House with Tim and the rest of the boys, and as soon as Katie was ready, I sped off to join them at the church. Wedding photography in Surrey involves a lot of tearing along country lanes, especially pleasant for me as I grew up very near here in Reigate and the countryside felt so familiar.

So, a busy day unfolded, and Katie and Tim are amongst my favourite clients – we had a brilliant time, not least because Katie and Tim are into photography, (see our pre-wedding shoot here) creativity (the reception theme was American Football) and are loved by their friends and family (emotional moments from both Katie’s dad and Tim’s best man).

These shots will give you a taste of the day…

Louise and Paul – an Oxfordshire wedding

‘Tropical’ might describe the weather- hot and wet. Unusual, for Oxfordshire weddings! So, as I say to all my clients, weather doesn’t spoil the day, it just changes it. Louise and Paul rolled with it, and we dodged the raindrops to get a fab set of images, some in an unobtrusive reportage style, and some in a creative and gently directed style. The Bay Tree at Burford was the perfect location, with brilliant indoor opportunities for pictures, lovely gardens, and just down the road, all of Oxfordshire!
