Jenny and Iri’s pre-wedding portrait session

We met for their pre-wedding portraits at the beautiful Auberge du Lac restaurant in the Brocket Hall Estate where Jenny and Iri will be married in a few weeks time. It is such a quintessentially English setting, early Spring, leaves on the trees at last, and patches of sunshine. We took our time, wandering round the grounds doing our shoot, with Jenny and Iri getting more comfortable in front of the camera with every frame I took.Everywhere you look there is another gorgeous view. I’m so looking forward to their wedding day!

Louise and Steve’s pre-wedding shoot

I love these pre-wedding portraits sessions – it’s a good way to say hello to my lovely clients who I sometimes haven’t seen for a year or so. It was great to see Louise and Steve again, and we hooked up at their wedding venue Hotel Du Vin and after a cup of coffee went out into the spring showers for some photos. The star of the day was of course Heidi, who will be the ring bearer on their wedding day, in a few weeks time.

Aimee and Grant – The Wedding!

We had a great pre-wedding shoot with Aimee and Grant and we were so hopeful that the weather would hold for their London wedding photography and we could go out and play then too. How lucky were we! It had poured all morning and things looked bad, even when I had started Aimee’s getting ready pictures. But, (being English and having an obsession with the weather) it cleared by the afternoon, and we went out to play.

These are just a few from a great day, I’ll put more here when I have done them…
